Give Stinky Feet the Boot

Face the smelly truth: No matter how finely pedicured, your feet sweat -- as much as a gallon of moisture each week. Don't fret; just follow these tips: 1.Scrub your tootsies daily with a washcloth and antibacterial soap, and dry them thoroughly with a clean towel. Afterward, sprinkle on an odor-preventing foot powder; its mild astringency will help stifle sweat. 2.Clean socks are your best defense. Pure cotton socks are better than wool or those made with fibers that don't breathe. Even better, try a pair made of the new synthetic fibers specially designed to wick away moisture. Check the label for that claim. 3.Take a hiatus from your favorite footwear. A 24-hour break should starve the foul critters who call your clodhoppers home. 4.Apply pit logic.
